You would however need to make sure your hardware is fairly good to run this software. That mostly extends to the GPU, which is important since Resolve 17 makes full use of GPU acceleration.Īs I mentioned it seems that although I have been using it for some time now to completely learn DaVinci Resolve will take time and commitment, It is also fairly easy to pick up and get started with simple edits. The great thing is you can use it on Mac and Linux as well as on Windows, though it can be picky over its hardware support. This is a free, full-featured version of Blackmagic Design's professional video editing software and a paid Studio 'full' version, can be purchased if you feel you need to progress even further with your editing skills.
